Nell Phoenix
19 March 2026, 8pm - SOLD OUT
Nell Phoenix paces a path from dusty Mesopotamia, to Ancient Egypt, through London’s Bloomsbury, along a dingy road in Guatemala at dawn, and back to her own kitchen table – gathering up disturbing, unsettling, baffling, bewildering, sinister, UNCANNY stories.

THE BODIES ON THE BEACH - THE LAST BATTLES OF FIONN MACCUMHAILL
Ben Haggarty, Steph Brittain
23 APRIL 2026, 8PM
Step into a maelstrom of myth, as storytellers Ben Haggarty and Steph Brittain pick through fragments of voices, medieval manuscript, and song to piece together a story of love, loss and destiny – a Celtic Iliad.

We create exuberant, intelligent, wild, weird and wonderful live storytelling events in Bristol. If you’re a thinker, a seeker, or a dreamer, and you have an imagination that you like to feed, then this is for you.

The Crick Crack Club is the UK’s busiest and boldest programmer of live performance storytelling. We present shows that are inspired by or which reinterpet the stunning content of international fairytale, folktale, myth and epic for contemporay audiences. These are storytelling shows that deal with the juicy, messy and confusing business of being a human being.

Join us for fairytales for grown-ups, urban legend, hardcore myth, and everything in between. Expect a magical, alternative night out in Bristol.

Not only does the Crick Crack Club host monthly sell-out storytelling shows at The Cube, but we’ve also been known to bring our enormous tented theatre to Bristol College Green for the Fabularium Fairytale Festival.

Our fairytales for grown-ups are suitable for adults (teens aged 14+ or 16+), but you can find specific recommendations on each show listing.
