The prophecies of the Sibyls thread through ancient myth. Feared, revered and frequently misunderstood, the Sibyls stood at the crossroads of religion, politics and performance. Their visions promised answers while leaving everyone wondering what they actually meant.
In our world where certainty is rare and knowledge divides us as much as it separates, we invite you to bring your questions to place in front of the Sibyls as we turn the Earthouse in a place of not-knowing. By the end of the evening, you will have an answer - not necessarily the answer you’re looking for, or even the answer to your question, but an answer nonetheless!
There will be candles, there will be conversation, and we will travel from a mountain in the southeast of Italy to the depths of the underworld, as Lucy Lill tells the stories of the women whose words founded cities, brought down armies and caused an epic amount of confusion.
The Sibyls might know your future, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to tell you….
